First fill the Configfile with your Hosts/Services for wich you want to set a downtime (each entry in single line).
./autoScheduledDowntime.pl –help
autoScheduledDowntime.pl Version: 1.0
The autoScheduledDowntime-Script can be used to schedule periodically Nagios Downtimes.
First fill the Configfile with your Hosts/Services for wich you want to set a downtime (each entry in single line).
The format should look like that:
‘type’#'hostname’,'startdate’,'starttime’,'enddate’,'endtime’,'fixed’,'trigger-id’,'author’,'comment’
Examples:
This will set a fixed host-downtime today from 10 to 11:
host#Server-1,*,10:00:00,*,11:00:00,1,0,7200,scheduledByAutoScheduledDowntimeScript,Demo Host Downtime
This will set a fixed service-downtime on May, 31 from 10 to 11:
service#Server-1,Service-XY,31-05-2012,10:00:00,31-05-2012,11:00:00,1,0,7200,scheduledByAutoScheduledDowntimeScript,Demo Service Downtime
Now you have to run the script periodically (i.e. with cron at midnight)
Usage:
-V (–version) Script version
-h (–help) Usage help
