This cgi is a replacement for status.cgi that Nagios uses by default to search hosts.
The default search gives you only the first match.
search2.cgi gives you all the matches and you can search by partial names and also you can search by Host IP address.
If you are to search a host on Nagios, the default Nagios host search method is not going to be very helpful unless you know the exact hostname that you are searching.
search2.cgi over comes this and offers more flexible searching capabilities.
With search2.cgi:
* You can search for partial host names and it will list all the hosts that matches the search criteria.
* Search for "?" will list all the hosts in the system.
* You can search either by host name (or partial name) or by IP address (or partial IP address).
* The results page gives you click-able links to easily access the hosts.

Installation is very easy and just follow the instruction in the web site.

Hi,

I found this add-on useful. If i'm not wrong there is some mistake in this. You have given absolute-path in foreach loop at line 108 through 122. It should be relative path.
