Meet The New Nagios Core Services Platform

Built on over 25 years of monitoring experience, the Nagios Core Services Platform provides insightful monitoring dashboards, time-saving monitoring wizards, and unmatched ease of use. Use it for free indefinitely.

Monitoring Made Magically Better

  • Nagios Core on Overdrive
  • Powerful Monitoring Dashboards
  • Time-Saving Configuration Wizards
  • Open Source Powered Monitoring On Steroids
  • And So Much More!
NCAP will receive requests by check_ncap, via the nagios (monitoring) host. Then these requests are proxied to actual nrpe daemons.
The idea behind NCAP is to have seperate collectors that gather information from one or more NRPE (see below) installations. Nagios gets its information from the collectors (using an included plugin), which return cached information from the NRPE installations. This can help with scalability and preventing DoS attacks.
