This is a bundle of shell-scripts that use the tsm admin client to check a couple of interesting things on tsm, using bash, awk, sed, grep,..
**Following checks are included:**
tsm_schedule_errors.sh (failed client schedules)
tsm_log_util.sh (log utilization)
tsm_db_util.sh (db utilization
tsm_free_tapes.sh (free scratch tapes)
tsm_error_tapes.sh (tapes with errors)
tsm_error_disk.sh
tsm_drives.sh (online drives)
tsm_paths.sh (online paths)
tsm_associations.sh (checks if important servers are associated with a schedule)
tsm_db_backuptime.sh (time of last db backup)
tsm_fulldb_backup.sh (time of last full backup)
**For statistics (gives interesting graphs in combination with graphing tools)**
tsm_server_perf.sh (Performance of server processes: e.g. migration, db backup,...)
tsm_occupancy.sh (number of files and mb occupancy)
tsm_node_occupancy.sh (number of files and mb of a client node)
tsm_drive_state.sh (drive states: idle, dismounting, in use ...)
tsm_disk_pool.sh (utilization of diskpools)
tsm_backupsum.sh (backup sum of last 24h)
tsm_drive_state.sh (state of the drives)
tsm_running.sh (running processes in tsm)
tsm_volume_state.sh (state of volumes: scratch, full, filling,...)
tsm_wasted_volumes.sh (wasted volumes due to reclaimation)
Have a look into the file tsm_checks.env and the scripts for "configuration". They are easily adoptable.
You need a user with ANALYST permissions.
