The 'snmp' package must be installed and configured on the PBX box. The plugin is destined for SNMP version 1.
The plugin checks the number of Asterisk channels of specified type. Valid channel names are: Agent, DAHDI, IAX2, Local, MGCP, Phone, SIP, Skinny, Skype. If specified by using '-warn' and '-crit' switches the plugin can compare the number of monitored channels with specified thresholds.
Usage:
check_asterisk_channels.pl [options] (-help || -?)
Options:
Mandatory:
-H IP address of monitored Asterisk instance
-C SNMP community
-T Channel type
Optional:
-warn Warning threshold
-crit Critical threshold
