Provides three separate nagios checks concerning swap usage in one. The script is triggered by an active check (via something like nrpe) and simultaneously kicks off two additional calculations which report to Nagios via send_nsca.

This has been tested and runs on RHEL5,6 Solaris 10, AIX 5, 6.
Provides three separate nagios checks concerning swap usage in one. The script is triggered by an active check (via something like nrpe) and returns results from a Swap level check based on a standard usage % threshold. It tracks a short history (default 6) of usage values. It uses this history to make two additional checks looking for a sudden increase in usage (Swap Spike) and for a gradual upward trend (Swap Slow Rise) (see "--help" for more details). The results of these two checks are delivered to the Nagios server via send_nsca.

This allows you to watch for a couple trend situations in an environment where Nagios is not tracking performance information.

This has been tested and runs on RHEL5,6 Solaris 10, AIX 5, 6.
